Bertha Boudreau of Villa Providence (formerly of Résidence Sénateur Roméo, St-Joseph) passed away on November 28, 2011 at Villa Providence at the age of 86 after her great courage during her years of sickness.

Born December 17, 1924, in Belliveau Village, she was the daughter of the late Hector Bourgeois and the late Marie Léger. She worked at the Institut of Memramcook until her retirement and was a member of the Golden Age Club of Pré-d’en-Haut.

She is survived by her two daughters, Bernadette (Jerry) Thomas of Victoria, BC and Denise (Ronald) Bourgeois of Old Shediac Rd, two sons, Charles (Hélène) and Michel (Danielle) both of Dieppe, four sisters, Hélène (Tanis) LeBlanc of Dieppe, Sr Lucille Bourgeois n.d.s.c. of Moncton, Antoinette (Donald) Boudreau and Délina (Eddée) Gaudet both of Belliveau Village, two brothers, Arthur (Edna) Bourgeois of Dieppe and Louis (Mary) Bourgeois of Belliveau Village, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Laurie (2006), one infant son Joseph and by two sisters Eugenie and Bernadette.

Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de l’Annonciation church, Pré-d’en-Haut on Friday, December 2 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
